Production Manager – Las Vegas

Job Description:

D’Andrea Visual Communications (DVC) is seeking a Digital Printing Production Manager for its Las Vegas, NV location. DVC provides a wide range of products and services to its clients including retail signage and displays, fabric frames, light boxes, installation and event graphics. Duties and Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Oversee the day-to-day manufacturing process on the production floor.
  • Manage all manufacturing employees, team leads, and shift supervisors.
  • Schedule and coordinate production of all orders.
  • Coach and champion employees on continuous improvement projects.
  • Monitor, document, and analyze waste and spoilage to reduce future waste and spoilage.
  • Provide reports and updates to upper management regarding various aspects of operations and improvement efforts.
  • Recruit new employees and oversee training of new employees.
  • Manage employee overtime, schedule, ADP payroll.
  • Manage company, governmental, and agency regulations/policies as they relate to safety and operations. Act as the safety chair for the Las Vegas facility.
  • Create, implement, and manage maintenance policies and procedures for all manufacturing equipment.
  • Oversee inventory and work with purchasing to reduce inventory where possible.

Requirements for this position include:

  • 5+ years working in a digital printing environment.
  • 5+ years spent directly supervising or managing employees.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Strong leadership and people skills.
  • Stable work history.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with employees and upper management both orally and in writing.
  • Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Outlook and Excel and the ability to type 40+ wpm.
  • Excellent retention and recall ability.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends required. We offer a competitive salary, paid time off, paid holidays, paid medical benefits and a 401k plan.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing duties of this job you are regularly required to walk, stand, talk and hear.  Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.  You must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

The work environment is a combination of office and manufacturing area, and may require significant time sitting at a desk, using a computer. There will occasionally be exposure to loud noise, fumes, dust and moving equipment in the manufacturing area.
